At the heart of EduAdvocate is Dr. Shelley L. Spessard, a seasoned educator, systems change advocate, and AI expert with 19 years of hands-on experience spanning PreK–Higher Education. Driven by a passion for making education more effective and meaningful, Dr. Spessard has held roles as a teacher, principal, and director, specializing in higher education curriculum design, teacher inductions, and professional development.
As an author and thought leader, she brings expertise in AI integration, education leadership, and strategic planning to ensure that schools are equipping students with 21st-century skills and real-world readiness. With multiple AI certifications, she is at the forefront of helping educators harness technology to improve teaching, learning, and leadership.
Dr. Spessard is also a leading voice in parent education, advocating for families to be empowered in their children’s academic journeys. She works alongside school boards, administrators, and policymakers to drive systemic change that aligns education with the demands of today’s workforce.
